Biography

Emma is a qualified as a Solicitor and Barrister and practised in the field of family law for a number of years.  In 2003 she began working for the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a practice standards adviser and adjudicator. She is currently chair of the fitness to practise panels for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Police Misconduct Tribunals for Dyfed Powys, North and South Wales Police. She is a lay member of the Investigating Committee at the General Medical Council and the independent complaints assessor for the Phonepaid Services Authority. She is also an associate ombudsman for the Financial Services Ombudsman.
