Prescribed Qualifications

* At its meeting of 22 July 2024, the Accreditation Committee agreed that the prescription expiry date of Part 1 qualifications should be updated to 31 December 2027 to reflect ARB’s published schedule for transition to accreditation.

Accredited Qualifications

Qualifications aligning to ARB Competency Outcomes must be accredited by the ARB both prior to any individual starting, or transferring onto that qualification. As well as being accredited at the time when the qualification is conferred on an individual.

• Accreditation is dependent on continued compliance with ARB’s Condition of Accreditation and Standards for Learning Providers.
• Accreditation is for the purposes of entry onto the United Kingdom Register of Architects, in line with Section 4(1)(a) of the Architects Act 1997
