Rama Krishnan
Rama began her career in social work before moving into the field of regulation where she managed the registration and inspection of care services. She then worked for several years at the Audit Commission undertaking audit, inspection and improvement work with public sector bodies and was the London policy lead for older people and adult social care. She also worked in the charity sector as a Director and a Trustee for a large charity.
She currently holds a portfolio of roles which includes working as a lay panel/committee member and chair for several professional regulators such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW), the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILeX) Regulation, the Bar Tribunal and Adjudication Service (BTAS) and the Landscape Institute.
