Kevin Goodenough
Kevin is a chartered architect with 30 years of experience as a partner in private practice. He has been responsible for a wide range of projects in the housing and primary healthcare sectors including new buildings in urban and rural settings, greenbelt sites and areas of outstanding landscape character/value, as well as designs for the conversion and extension of historic buildings including Grade I and Grade II* listed properties.
Throughout his career Kevin has been involved in the investigation of defective building works and the preparation of proposals for remedial action. After formal training he has been awarded the RICS Expert Witness Certificate and is listed on both the RICS Register of Expert Witnesses and the RIBA Expert Register.
He has an in-depth knowledge of all stages of the briefing, design and construction processes. Contract administration experience includes a variety of contractual arrangements from architect-lead design teams and traditional tendering, to alternative forms of design & build contracts, providing valuable insight into the different roles and responsibilities of designers and contract administrators, and their duties towards clients.
