Gillian Seager

Biography

Gillian initially qualified as a dietitian and carried out community work in the UK and overseas. Following qualification as a barrister, she has held senior management positions with regulators such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Independent Police Complaints Commission and the Bar Standards Board.

Gillian is currently a lay fitness to practise panel member for the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service and a lay member of the Conduct and Appeals Committee for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She is a Case Examiner for the General Optical Council and Disciplinary Assessor for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and sits as a magistrate.
