We have published a set of competence guidelines, for the mandatory topics, which set out areas in which architects are expected to be competent when carrying out architectural work.
In 2024, architects are expected to carry out CPD in relation to two mandatory topics. We created learning resource pages that you may want to visit for each mandatory topic: fire and life safety design and environmental sustainability.
We do not recommend a particular learning route. We signpost architects to learning resources they might want to consider and this page will be updated as new resources become available.
