Maintaining registration

As a registered architect, there are a number of things you need to do to maintain your registration. For example, you need to pay an annual retention fee and make sure that you keep up to date with developments and practice in architecture.

It is also important that our records are up to date and accurate. We need to hold your correct name and business addresson our database because these are the contact details that appear in the Register (you can also show your email and website addresses if you wish, although this isn’t compulsory). Please note that we only require one postal address.  This can be either your business address or if this doesn’t apply, then you will need to enter your home address.  You cannot enter both.  If any of your personal details change, you can update them quickly and easily by clicking on the Update your details icon on the left. This facility is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which means that you can make the changes at a time and place that’s most convenient for you.
