How to find us

This website contains information for a wide audience. Whether you are an architect, a member of the public, an architectural student or just an interested browser, we hope that you will find the information you need.

Overview

The About ARB pages provide general information on ARB’s Board, its committees and its staff. You can also access the Architects Act 1997 and the Board’s General Rules on these pages.

The Education section gives information about schools of architecture and qualifications which are recognised by ARB. Students of architecture can access the Student Handbook pages for information applying specifically to them.

Under Registration, you will find information about all aspects of the registration process. There is also information on the annual retention fee and other fees payable.

The Regulation pages include guidance on the complaints process, both for those who are making a complaint, and those who are the subject of a complaint. Architects can find information about professional indemnity insurance, and the Professional Conduct Committee pages include an online version of the Code of Conduct. The transcripts of PCC judgments are also available on the site.

Details of ARB’s publications can be found on the News and Information Pages, and for the latest news from ARB, you can visit the Press Gallery. The website also contains links to other useful sites.

We hope that you will find the website helpful, informative and easy to use. We are, however always open to suggestions for improvement, and we hope you will take advantage of the Contact facility on the site, and pass your views and comments on to us.
